Self-Challenge: Create a typographic newsletter showcasing an artist of my choosing
For this hypothetical project, I chose to feature the artwork of Liam Stevens. Liam is an extremely talented illustrator with a proclivity towards intricate line-work and geometric shapes. Using that foundation he creates impressive landscapes and pleasant scenes that seem like something out of a dream. I have manipulated his artwork in various ways throughout the spreads.
Mona Surrealisa
On top of featuring Liam's work, I also wanted to have a little fun myself and tweak a famous painting. What's more famous than the Mona Lisa?
I updated the classic Da Vinci painting with a touch of confusion - the Mona Surrealisa.
