Despite what we've been told, everyone really does judge a book by its cover. I've always found cover design to be one of the most direct ways to communicate to people. A book cover has to grab your attention and at the same time visually portray the mood or story that lies within. Simplicity is king in this realm of design.
Challenge: Redesign a book cover. Front, back and spine. Only use one-color. Include one hand-drawn element. Include a two-page mock up of a chapter page.
